A high-level one-day conference concentrating on the practical ways to achieve urgent and necessary culture change in the construction industry, focussing specifically on the issue on everyone’s minds: building safety.
Leadership and culture change to put building safety first is a key issue we are all too aware needs to be addressed. Few can dispute that building safety needs to improve across the built environment, including educational buildings, new hospitals, civic buildings and even the leisure sector. This conference addresses the topic head on, with policy makers from DLUHC, IPA, and industry leaders and stakeholders from across the sector.

Building Safety First
Panel 1: Incentivising Change, 12:30pm
SCAPE Group Chief Executive, Mark Robinson will join panellists to discuss how the industry incentivises change, and recognising how key influencers from across the breadth of the sector can play their part in driving and influencing change. How this change should be seen as an investment, not a cost, and the mechanisms and tools we use to bring about this change.
Panel 2: Procurement and the Public Client, 2:45pm
Arc Partnership Managing Director, Dan Maher, will join panellists to discuss the client's role in Building Safety, and the duties and responsibilities they have, including the responsibility to lead and drive from the front on best practice.
