Alastair joined Scape in 2016 with over 30 years' financial and management experience gained in practice and in industry.
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, with his training and early career at PwC, where he ultimately became a Senior Manager. He has since held a number of positions as Finance Director with companies operating in the construction, engineering and manufacturing sectors operating both in the UK and overseas.
He spent over 10 years with Kier Group establishing and growing their building maintenance/facilities management business for Local Authorities and Housing Associations around the UK often through the use of Joint Venture arrangements, so has significant experience of and interest in construction-related activities especially within the public sector. He also has a wealth of experience in leading and developing strategies for corporate governance, risk management, strategic procurement, logistics, IT and HR.
Alastair has also held leadership roles in a large number of culture change and business transformation initiatives, including implementing best practices, improving performance and creating best value for clients.
